Evo III, The Simrac Golf
Simrac greeted the new millennium with a Evo III, the Simrac Golf. First appearance was at an exhibition in Bern, Switzerland as ordered by a longtime customer. Straight after that it was time for another exhibition in Paris, France.
After some minor changes, the Simrac Golf was properly taken into use in 2001. The biggest change compared to the previous Evos was the software. Developed with Mr Eero Pajarre Simrac now had completely own software with real physics model and 3D scenery made from the actual special stage of Ouninpohja. This allowed to brake ties to computer games and made some new technical solution possible. Due to these new solution and upgraded components the motion platform was faster and more precise. Rear end slide movement was increased to 1,0 meter.
Simrac Golf has served the public in Finland and abroad since year 2000 and continues to do so still.
